Hey, I'm looking to buy some more WK hop-ups. I've been looking at your 3x Aluminum Gears for Clodbuster for the Super Clod Buster Gear Box.
Do you guys plan on making metal or metal gears for the Wheely King tranny? There are people who would love to have some. I have 5 of them and they need heavy duty gears. We especially need to replace the false slipper clutch with a solid spool gear. The built-in slipper clutch of the second gear(the gear in the middle with the spring)is two gears connected with a spring tht acts like a slipper. We need a solid spool gear here so that the tranny can be used for crawling and bashing, and racing with strong motors. I really like this tranny and wish there were better gears made. As it stands, the tranny is pretty useless with stronger motors or increased weight once you start adding aluminum hopups.
My problem is that once I added Wheely King aliuminum parts(minus the chassis and knuckles) and a 19T motor the tranny slips constantly and soon I will have no gears left. The second gear is not really a slipper, but 2 spring loaded gears, and will soon wear out. It already makes stripping noises. People are replacing the gears or modifiying other transmissions from other r/c's. But, I am keeping the stock 1:12 scale monster setup.
I have another Wheely King here, and one more I'll be buying soon for my wife, but the transmission just will not last long with aftermarket upgrades.
