Stadium Blitzer/Thunder

At the previously mentioned Revival meeting I went to last week, not only was I running my Pumpkin and Bush Devil but two Stadium trucks, the Blitzer and Thunder

I used the Thunder, quite unsuccessfully in the '94 - '98 2wd class, with most of my runs being plagued by some kind of problems with the steering uprights breaking twice
I was up against more modern in design buggies so it was always going to be tough anyway.

For the night time endurance race I raced the Blitzer which handled well and didn't have a breakage all of the two hours. We could have finished second over all had we not lost a wheel and a shock though

Nice! I have a special place in my heart for the Stadium Blitzer, as it was the first hobby grade RC vehicle kit I ever built as an eleven year old back in 92. I actually just bid on a really clean Stadium Thunder on eBay yesterday and won, so I'll be reliving some memories once that gets here.

I only bought the Thunder as spares for the Blitzer but ended up racing it. They were both ebay buys and both at reasonable price although the shipping from the States for the Blitzer put the price of that up a little bit

The Stadium Blitzer was one I always wanted but never got. (Come to think of it there were quite a few like that )
