sure looks good! My bullhead was black it sure looks good with the chrome, red chassis and yellow parts! I am trying to repair the body on mine now. sure is hard to sand those areas you mentioned lol. I tried to strip the paint years ago and melted the plastic. having a hard time sanding and filling all the bad spots. have been looking on evil bay for a body but I bashed my so much the chrome is in rough shape too. thinking of camo colors and flat black for all the chrome parts.

looking really good so far! where do you get bare metal foil? and is it hard to apply?

Still need to do the door handles and trim around the windshield. I get the foil at my local train and model car shop. It is real metal with an adhesive backing. Slightly thicker than tissue paper. Cut it and apply then trim with a X-acto knife. Burnish down with a qtip. Buffed it looks just like chrome.

Its basically about the same as metal mending tape that you can get in a automotive section.

It looks alot better in black, then the blue paint job that Tamiya says to use for box art.

Thanks guys. :)
As I was adding the chrome trim I was thinking how can I drive it? But I will just have to baby it cause I don't want it to sit on the shelf. Bare Metal Foil is 0.0005 inches thick. Very thin and very easy to tear.

Looking at the stickers for the steps last night I decided I don't like them. Will likely replace these with some alumnum diamond plate to make it more realistic. Also had an idea hit me last night as well. The Bullhead is setup perfectly for mounting a winch and boom on the back and making it into a tow truck. Will have to see about taping up a fake boom to see how it looks.

Back looked too plain. Had to add some bling.

Little bit of polishing and it will look like chrome strips.

Looks Good!!:) Are you still going with the tow truck style boom?

The wife liked the idea of the tow truck. Once it is all back together I will set up some kind of boom to see what it looks like.

Clear coat is underway. Looking at how shiny the Mod Clod turned out and the Bullhead is turning out I realize now the 'Gloss' clear coat I bought and applied to my Super Clod was in fact 'Satin' even though the label said 'Gloss'. So I may clean the Super Clod body up and apply the 'Gloss' clear coat to it.

UPDATE:
Gloss is on. Took it out and checked over the coverage. Appear to have gotten every nook and cranny.
