Source For New Driveshafts

Well, I don't necessarily care if they are original, I'd like to replace the rear (and front if possible) drive shafts on my new bruiser. The rear U-Joints are worn pretty good and I can see them failing in the future.

Are there any good kits that include a shaft just like the bruisers shaft? If not, what are my choices?

Thanks!

juggernauts and txt shafts are a direct fit for the rear and you'll just have to trim the front shaft. the only issue is the hole in the u jint is 6mm, but they have 2 set screws so they work well

perijeo/toureg/ any other XC chassis truck uses the same u joints in the rear end

the high lift unfortunately uses a double slow shaft (no solid u joint both move up and down the shaft) but could work if the length is similar or if you're willing to fab a shaft. the only real advantage is the input hole on the u joint is 5mm same as the bruiser

you can also use stampede shafts with the steel input yolks

Great information. Much appreciated Electro.

I just won an auction for an extra C-Parts bag from the F-350.
Which happens to contain the Driveshafts you mentioned. I might try and do a little fab'ing on those to see if I can get them to fit.

Hey Hunter if you will go to the Pinned Thread about Diveshafts at the top of this page it has a lot of great info.
I would suggest using the Pede Sliders and the Steel Yokes. They are really tough and look very scale and less likly to wear out like the original stuff on the Bruiser and High Lift F350.

Dang, I totally overlooked the pin. I did a search but apparently the terms stunk!

Thanks for the heads up you guys, I really did try and find it on my own.

Hey no problem... I was not trying to say anything. It really torks me when someone gets upset because the person didn't do a search first and then goes off on them.
I am still fairly new to the site as well... and I referenced the Pinned Topic and it was a great help. The set up looks very slick on a Bruiser or HighLift project.
