Got the wheels done! Thanks to my good friend Tom (TXT-2.0) for the custom Planetaries

where did you get the planitaries i've been looing for a set to use on my build? your going to have one bad truck when done

i made those , they are CPE discontinued hubs that i modified i put the screws in then trimmed the backside so they were flush then shoe gooed them in

Thanks Tom...that is regular orange Krylon paint for Ace Hardware but I did hit it with 1 like clear coat..I was trying to get it as close to Chevy Orange as possible..thats wat color the shocks and body will be too..Chevy Orange!

Wow this is coming out great!!!! Im really digging the Blackwell axles and hd r2 trans I might go with that setup whenever I get around to building a retro I was gonna go with the txt axles since they look pretty good but these blackwells really are scale rockwells!!!

Thanks guys...yea I lke how the orange matches the theme..should blend in well. I ordered sum nylon punisher shafts, they should be here soon. Then I just need steering links and servos.

i loved mine , for 60 some odd bucks shipped you cant beat the deal ! and i had a 4300 in my shafty build and it RIPPED

Yea it looks like a nice system..I remember Tom had it in the SuperShafty truck and someone else was running dual setups in a clod and ran really good..might be a nice option for dual brushless on a clod with out breaking the bank..

I painted the rims on my Mod Clod with Krylon yellow since it works for my planned colour scheme but I have to say that orange looks sweet. I think the black planetaries really set it off.
