I like both...you guys are about to rise up against me lol :p

Ive seen sum outstanding build threads...when I first joined the site I enjoyed reading all the looooooong threads and learning about their builds...you can learn about product alot too. I have also seen sum really nice surprise postings...i.e Mo's Protector, and the Big Boss and a few others.

This project I wanted to do a lil different kinda build thread, there will be a build thread for this tho....just wanted to mess wit yall a lil :emot15:

I really wish RC4WD offered a differential kit for those axles. If they did I'd own a set.

Thanks guys! I cant wait to dig into this build a lil more, Slowly collecting small parts and things, It should turn out nice.....Terry from the Monster Factory is gonna help with the body....Also want to thank Wade (Turnmeover) for the project!

Found sum scale parts to use too..gonna use the Wraith interior gauges, steering wheel, Seat and shifter....I already have the MM motor and Im gonna paint the block red or orange to give it sum flavor lol...I need to find something to serve as the Tanks in the front and back tho...

tanks from a tamiya semi or the rere bullhead and can be cut shorter if needed and glued back together

Good idea Will...someone else mentioned the Tamiya Semi, but I didnt think about the Bullhead. I cant get a good pic of the chassis with the body off to locate batteries!

If you want a realistic aluminum tank then you could contact Jason Riddle with Termyte chassis . He makes some nice ones he will build them to what size you need . I use them on my pulling trucks and tractors.

Mike...I didnt even think of that..that might work, I need the tank to be at lease 2" long and those might be perfect! :cool

i would guess that the batteries are on the floor of the cab somewhere. i knows theres a few more full scale build pics from Dane himself that was posted on monstermayhem(on the oldschool pic thread). ill could try to find them.(o wait, i think they are on the monster museum website too)

Yea I think so too..just wanted to make it fairly accurate...Ill keep searching, I already figured out how to hide my electronics too!

I would take 4 of those co2 takes and make what you need - they would be fairly easy to cut in half. I bought a little hand hobby saw that cuts aluminum like butter with little effort
