ok we all know one of the down falls of the high lift is getting hung up on the stock skid plate. well i cut it down and still got hung up so i wanted to make one out of plastic and bend the sides up in hopes that it doesn't catch edges.
heres is what i did.
stock (cut) skid, bottom view
side view...
all though that cut did work better in terms of not getting hung up as often , it still happened to much for my liking.
new plastic skid next to stock (modded ) skid.
new plastic skid is made from a 1/6th nylint skid.
here it is bolted up...
and the side view.
hopefully the plastic will slide off the rocks better and the rounded edges not get hung up as easily. ill let ya know how it goes.
