Hey guys,

Well I was trying to figure this out for myself but honestly Id like some input from you guys who run on carpet.... What shock and spring set up do you suggest ? Im finally getting around to putting my CF Terminator together and I need a set of shocks and springs. Any and all input would be great.

Thanks alot,
Terry

Associated shocks are good. Depending on your shock positioning, soft springs are good. You don't want a lot of rebound in the suspension. The big thing is to make sure you have good stiff sway bars. They are equally important.

Here's a link to our Pro's Corner section of our website. There are about a dozen trucks there with all of the main components listed for anyone to use as a baseline.

Interesting to see what others are running.
Why doesn't anyone have the rear steering so that it can turn better and do donuts?

Rear steer is not Always as controlable,(a limited amount is good on some courses, and surfaces)
and also, not everybody want to do donuts..

back when i raced i used associated and losi shocks on my trucks with the lightest spring i could find and use sway bars.as for the rear steer,it is not needed for a race.as long as you got the front steering to turn to there max and a hi-torque servo the truck should make the turns.

And be sure to run the strongest servo saver you can,
because with the high torque servo's we now have,
there are few savers that can actually hold the torque,
and keep the wheels stable..

Hey Fellas,
I just wanted to say thank you for all your input on a set-up.
This should at least get me going in the right direction !!!

Any suggestion on a good servo and servo saver while we're at it ?
