So i finallly have enough parts laying around to build another truck mostly all randomly painted parts(axles were grey and all scuffed), i still need to repaint the body and rims but i need more red paint before i can do that

Heres a pic of what i came up with more pics will come later once i get it up and running(more later today as a roller)

What chassis is that?
its custom that i can tell

i bought it From Jon(zyck2k) almost a year ago(bought it mainly just for the upper 4link mounts that came with it) but i ended up using it i had it together once before but with it still being bare aluminum and DID NOT like the look of it at all, then i painted it black a week or so ago was gonna stick it up for sell but then i got some replacment parts for my diablo and some more parts from jon(lol i have a bit of his old stuff) i decided to make it a complete truck(i had the axle cases/tubes/knuckles,4link rods, chassis, body, and tires/rims) just needed the internals and wheel hubs and a few more parts

front axle

Shocks are zip tied for the moment and i still need to install the Servo mount/servo

Rear axles

CPE rear axle brace Steering lockout(love how clean it looks)

Underside

i pretty much just eyed the lower 4link holes only one hole was off take a jam nut out of the link that goes there it lines up perfectly(both axles are basically perfectly centered no off one way or the other)

I like it and nothing wrong with using various parts to make it happen looks are not everything if that is not what it was intended to.

the gravedigger or any other with the body half torn off running on 3 wheels still looks cool and fun to me...

yea ill be painting the body and rims here in a few days so it'll all look new, but yea it came together good, couple "very used" parts but i have replacments for those,(didnt necessarily see how bad they were till after i painted) also need bearings its got brass bushings in the hubs and axle tubes(will be putting covers on the shocks) lowered the body on it too(look better imo) will get some more pics after i paint some more on it(also get it up and running by then)

So Finally got around to Painting the body also Got some tires and Rims from Jeff(Fullmetalgrv) Thanks again, also found some awesome 1/4 machined hose clamps that work AWESOME as on link shock mounts(ill post the link to them aslong as the ones i have hold up for more then a few runs) you can see them by clicking the picture zooming into the left rear shock

More pics will come later

So went about and got some shorter 4link(barely was long enough to work) used 3 inch brass circuit board stand offs, had to add 3/4 inch aluminum standoff for the lower links to make them work) changing out the motors for some 11x3 turn trinity motors since the silver cans wont fit anymore(almost not enough room for motors)

rims will get painted camel yellow when ever it get warm enough to paint

So got the stock motors in with out modifying it at all other then adding 2 nuts to each bottom link so the axle sits more level and the motor won't hit the chassis

That truck has some amazing shock action. Looks smooth as can be. What shocks on this truck and what weight oil?

They are ESP gold shocks, 2 don't have oil (since they leak so bad) and other 2 just some normal motor oil 10w30

I really think it's just the shear mass of this thing why it looks so smooth it's about 16-20lbs(don't have a scale so not 100% on weight) with all the electronics in it the brass 4link Is real heavy

I'm afraid to pick it up by the rollbar that's how heavy it is
