servo on axle

Hey guys! I'm trying to find a axle mount for my servo but everything I see says its for crawler conversion only, not for stock wheely king. I'm going to flip my chasis and hopfully find an axle mount for my steering servo - does anyone have any suggestions on what will work on a WK without the crawler conversion (and why do all these mounts require the conversion anyway)?

the level3 rc servo that mounts in the center is probably your best bet. Most of the siide mount ones will interfere with how the shock mounts on top of the axle, that is why they say crawler. The crawler brackets mount the shock more towards the chassis center than directly on top of the axle.

You can rotate the stock link/shock mount 90 dergrees and use it with a few other modifications. I've done that a bunch of times. It all comes down to wallet ($) and your preferences.

I used the CKRC mount on my tube chassis and it works fine...comes with all mounting hardware and takes about 5 mins to install
