the motor has a sencer telling the ESC what speed it is doing at all times
I beleave if you ware doing some thing low speed ware you needed grater control over the tork of the motor ( like rock cralling ) tha you would need a sencered set up
but if you have slash that you chacing dogs with sencer-less will do
