searched - what's the value of a Bruiser

looking on ebay now that I bought a F350 high lift... want to see if I can afford my original dream truck from when I was 11yrs old.

Understanding this is dependant on many factors...

What's a fair price for a Bruiser (non show class) missing battery, and other most typical broken/missing parts.

anyone got one for sale? :)

Thanks

chassis with full running gear (no body, no bumpers, no electrics and so on... just the drive line susspension and chassis) : $300-500

chassis with a body (not great condition) : $600-700

Excelent condition but not box art : 700-900

Box art complete : 800-900

NIB: 1000-4000

I paid about $400 shipped for each of my two chassis

wow thanks for the detailed answer.

Looks like they're fetching slightly on the high side currently on the 'bay

for your rollers did you manage to get fairly complete setups for that price?

if so :kudo

WOW I must have been one of the fortunate few then. I bought mine off of the bay for $325. Driveline chassis, body, Radio and ESC. Just no servos or receiver. Although it did need work but you can see from my post that it is coming along nicely.

$450.00 for a compltete rolling chassis is a fair price. you can some times luck into a body at that price
$800.00 should fetch a very nice ride that should be nearly complete.
you can look to spend upwards of $1,000.00 for a mint condition or restored truck.

I can hook you up with a complete roller for $450.00 minus the body.
you will have to spruce it up though.

email me or wiregeek if you are interested.

one had bad front hubs and spur, but had the old school 6 shock upgrade and was in rather good condition

the other was more dissapointing, the front axle was cut into and the motor is starting to crap out and the drive shafts had bad u joints...

they both requires a little polishing and tranny plugs, but I just use tape for now.

I put in a bid on another, but I probably wont win it. I want to build one with heavier mods than my last, so I'm not looking for mint... but I always keep any eye out for a cheap one to restore as I really want a shelf mounty

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but I have a Bruiser rolling chassis I may be selling in the near future. My question is what is it worth roughly?

The Bad:

It is missing the rear shocks and the bumpers need some sanding and/or repainting. The chrome on the wheels has a few chips around the edges.

The Good:
The transmission shifts correctly, the motor is untested (no wires soldered on at the moment) but looks to be in good shape. The chassis is polished, and will be re-built with new stainless hex head screws and hardware. It will also have the following new parts installed when I have time to rebuild it.

complete press parts bag

chassis crossmember a

chassis crossmember b

motor mount

rear axle housing

rear axle

axle collars

rear driveshaft

right front hub

left front hub

This is just to get a idea of what it's worth, not a for sale ad (yet). I may or may not include an almost complete Mountaineer body with it (missing the headlight lenses and headlight buckets).

unfortunately, new parts dont raise the price.

from the sounds of it... I'd hate to tell you what I think it's worth because it's more than I want to spend because I really want a truck like this to make into a shelfer.

roughly $500-800 without seeing pictures saying all the body parts are there and all the chassis running gear is intact.

you can get away with a few bits missing usually

hey I might just buy the mounty body, LMK!

The price is high on these right now because the scale truck trend is in full swing. They have always been expensive, but they are in high demand now.

My neighbor found one at a pawn shop that was complete minus the body and got $250 for it on eBay. But that was like 3 or 4 years ago. Now he would have gotten at least twice that I think...

well i was watching one and it ended in my favor!

Think it might be a good deal from a single owner bruiser....

yeah i was watching that one... and the only thing it was missing was the grill. for me I'd rather have a complete body, but the price did turn out good on that one.
