Did you do anything to angle the axles so the shafts line up better? I added a small spacer to the upper link mount on the axle side and would have added more if I had 2 longer screws.
I added roughly 1/2" of spacers on the upper triangle link to clock the axles back to their appropriate location. The rear isn't quite as important as the front...without spacing the top of the front axle, the caster is going to be excessive.

But both axles should really be adjusted for proper driveshaft angles.

Had a Wheely King test and tune day on Saturday....it was raining outside, so we ran in my garage. The Go Pro footage was shot from my truck. Ran a couple races at the end as well.

The Max D truck is basically a carbon copy of my BH. The White truck is pretty much bone stock. The blue stock bodied truck doing the crazy backflips is brushless.

Good fun!

Thanks for the kind words...we had a really good time that day, considering how shasty it was outside.

Looking forward to this Saturday, when we start our official racing series. So far, we have 8-10 Wheely Kings ready to throw down. I'll make sure to take lots of footage of the racing and freestyle action!

If you guys need some vinyl stickers for your club let me know. I used the photo above to cut this one, just did it quick but if you wanted some I could clean it up better and make the lettering more clear.

I can also do a lot of other things, paint masks, etc. Just shoot me a PM.

I appreciate the offer, but my wife actually works for a printing & software company, and does all my decals and screen printing stuff (at a nice family discount too).

Thanks!

Ended up buying a full set of Hot Racing dual spring shocks and a Hot Racing rear lock-out kit on eBay for....wait for it............

$14.22 shipped for all of it!!

I emailed the seller before buying, to confirm the prices, and he said "act fast if you want them at this price". Not sure if it was a screw up, or what, but I couldn't afford NOT to buy them! :cool

I've read that the H.R. shocks are a bit stiff, but I'm sure I can tune them for the truck...maybe even use the stock black springs on the new shocks.

The stuffs should be here Monday...I'll update the thread with some pics of the newly installed goodies.

I put the HRs on my WK and they are a bit stiff but what I did was taken em apart and take 4 of the 6 rubber o rings out that sit in the with the spring...and I have no problems now ...o and I switch the springs as well running the medium spring as opposed to the stiff ones that came in em

New parts installed...seem like decent quality too.

Our next race is this coming Friday night. That's when they'll be put to the test!

Thanks...I might do 4ws in my second truck...this one is my primary race truck so 4ws would be a bit too twitchy on the carpet we run on.

Quick vid of some testing done today...it's a little stiff (that's what she said), so I'm gonna go softer on the springs.
