Savage Flux

Ok, guys. I think I have my mind made up on the Wheely King, but the speed of the Flux XS out of the box just has me thinking a little on it too. I am into the WK because of the fact you can really make it look like a 1:1 Scale Monster truck, can anyone give me the Pros and Cons of the Flux? It's a sweet little truck, but the fact that it doesn't look like a real monster truck is what has me. There's really not a whole lot on the Flux in here, so maybe some owners will come out of the shadows.

Watch out for they ESC's in them, apparently they have a problem with releasing smoke on stock gearing using both 2s and 3s. Sounds like the Mamba Max would be the ESC to get for it, but you loose the waterproof capability then.

Yes, I was reading up on that last night, and watched some videos of it. I thought I read somewhere that HPI had that fixed?

That I do not know, would be interesting to see what that fix was though.

I think that they replaced the ESC with a better one, I was trying to find the page, but can't at the moment.

The early batch of Castle ESC's were updated, as were the problems with the transmissions.

So it shouldn't have anymore problems burning up with the 3s in it?
