When I lived in Traverse City I had a big sound system in my truck. A friend of mine had a copy of the theme song (by Quincy Jones!) and we'd just blast it as we drove down the street. During Cherry Festival the streets were packed, and when we did that you'd see people bobbing their heads and giving thumbs up. It seems like everyone knows that song.
