run time

Quick question - Thinking of a Tundra High Lift...What do you see for run times in stock configuration with a minimum of a 3000 map battery? I would assume seeing its a slow truck, a good battery would last longer then you would want to play with.

Thanks.

Mine gets about an hour or more on a 3000 if you keep the speed down. And around 30 minutes when going for it. But I run a receiver pack and don't use any energy from the main battery.

No problem. If you get a chance install a receiver battery. Without one I had to much glitching between 3 servo's, a esc, and 19 led's.

I have not looked into the directions too much, but why 3 servos?
I thought 1 steering, 1 transmission. Just want to make sure I get all the parts I need when I start the build.

Thanks for the advice, I plan to use a receiver battery.
What are you using for a ESC?

If you are going to use a receiver battery I think you have to cut the red power wire that goes from the esc to the receiver. Otherwise you will get voltage from the receiver battery and the esc. If that happens, things will most likely start to fry. As for the esc I use a LRP F1 reverse. Almost any esc with reverse should work. And the reason I have three servo's is one for shifting. One for front steering and one for rear steering.
