Riinox tube chassis questions

I'm seriously considering the Riinox chassis for a WK based semi-crawler/offroad type rig and was wondering a few things. First, how would a standard 6 cell battery pack fit? Where would it fit? Also, what is the wheelbase using the included links? Are there any other issues to be aware of if I use the Wheely King axles?

Thanks in advance :D

batteries can be mounted on the axle, WK axle should be no problem, wheel base depends the links you use, the chassis it self comes with no links

Wow, we rarely include links along with our chassis, let me talk with our team today about this

if you order now, you will get the links

No doubt, it looks pretty sweet. I've been looking at different tubers for a while now, and this one seems to be it. The included metal links, ball ends and shock mounts is an added bonus. Can't wait to see it for real :D

I haven't quite decided which way I'll go with this chassis yet. If I can find a clocked motor mount (or fab one) for the WK gearbox, I'll use it since it has the upgraded gears inside. I also have a steel geared pede trans which would be easier to mount. For sure I'll be using WK locked axles, not sure if I'll go 2.2 or bigger for tires/wheels...so many choices :D

So, here it is, the 4th of August and still no package. Thanks to our wonderful postal service, my tuber chassis was last seen in Milwaukee on the 25th of July. So much for priority shipping:mad. I'm also missing a shipment from Maxamps, left on the 22nd of July, also lost after leaving Milwaukee. They're looking into it at the local P.O., but it doesn't sound good. Needless to say, I am seriously pissed off and disappointed. Over $300 spent and nothing to show for it.

Sorry, just had to vent.

Well, now I feel stupid, my package finally arrived! The Pony Express (USPS) must of had a three-legged horse delivering this one, took forever...

I just have to tell you that RC4WD has been in constant contact with me about this order, and even offered to send a new chassis, free of charge if my first one didn't show up. That kind of customer support needs to be acknowledged.

GREAT JOB, GUYS! :tmb:tmb:tmb

RC4WD ROCKS!
