Revisiting the 4x4

Project Megapede

I have been thinking about redoing my 4x4 pede again lately, my buddy told me he could get me a lazer cut chassis for cheap if I provide the drawings and what not. This one will get done right :p. I remember someone posted something about extending the chassis to fit maxx bodies. How long does it need to be? Im also going to be drawing it with dual servo mounts for 4ws so that will also be incorporated into the length. Ugh so many projects and ideas, so little cash lol

Does anybody remember the 4x4x4 pede I made some time ago with the diamond-plate U-channel chassis? The "Mudstang"? It was so long ago that I don't even know if I have any digital pics of it...

4wd, 4ws, stretched wheelbase, Mustang fastback body and Duratrax Maximum MT wheels/tires. The thing was very quick and agile and actually quite a handfull to control! LOL! The pic shows Stinger motors, but it eventually got mag mayhems...

Ive always loved the rcmidwest pedes, and Ive had a few chances to get frames or rollers but never jumped at the chance. If I had the cash and a smaller fleet I would probably buy JRizza's off of him that he's selling right now
