ok as most know i sold my RC4WD wheels and tires , so i put the TXT wheels back on and grabbed a set of clod tires (thx Stangnomore :tmb) . i was never really happy with the truck theme wise so i thought about it for a while and tore the truck down and painted it black along with the wheels ,now i know there is not an Army monster truck so i figured it would stand out lol....



also it was sitting to high for me so i added new shock mounts to drop the truck a touch .... much better

also put some stock cans back in i want to keep the carnage down to a minimum and with 2 batteries its fast enough for me ..... if they burn up there cheap lol.... but im not running the truck for extended periods of time so im good

Your not going to believe this but my new Mod Class TXT race truck is Army themed too. I'm calling it "ARMY of ONE" and I'm still trying to finalize the paint scheme. Going to use black as a base and I'm defintely using the star but I want to incorporate either ripped camoflauge or flames, not sure which. I even got a POW/MIA flag for it.

BTW how did you do those stickers, or are they masks?

NO WAY lol.... thats cool Kent ! well the decals were a tough one the side ,hood and roof are miniature decals 2x3 i found on ebay the rest were from a 1/24th nascar set i found on ebay also .... it was tough cause im not a painter nor want to spend the money on a wrap so i went that way .
where did you get the flag btw ?!

Looks real good. I like it better this way. I am a big ole sucker for TXT rims painted black, I think those are the bomb.

I vote for Hawn going with ripped camo. Then they both will be different plus I think it would look cool to have digital camo or snow camo on a truck.

Those were the exact two versions of camo I was thinking about! I gotta see if I can find a large sample of the digital camo pattern like the GoArmy.com site has to make a big sticker out of.

I'm gonna pick that one up after I change my Predator body into a big "HELLO KITTY" truck!!!:laugh

......I seriously made that suggestion to mugen69 since he uses a messed up Hello Kitty with a gas mask as an avatar on one forum.
