5280 R/C Pulling Club had their second event of the Spring/Summer Championship series. 23 truck and tractors took to the track at Danny?s house. The track conditions to start were very very soft but after a short meeting we did some work to the track and turned it in to a very challenging track. Modified4wd trucks saw the same driver take two trucks at 25 lbs out the back door. In 2wd Modified Trucks we saw 4 of the 8 trucks have issues that caused then to go out of bounds. But Club President Jason Riddle was best in class with a full pull in Addiction at 40lbs. Pro Stock tractors had a tie for first place at 25? 2? with Jason Riddle and Six Shooter , and Danny Coggins, with Centsless both pulling 30 lbs to that magic mark. First tie in club history. 2wd Super Mod Trucks had a rash of Full Pulls. 4 of the 6 trucks took 50 lbs out the back door. Those 4 trucks would come back in the pull of with 75 lbs in the sled and saw V.P. Tim Case take his Sinner truck to 27?5? and the win. Next Pull is 5/21/11 at Danny?s house again then the 2nd Annual Summer Nationals June 10-12.
