Hello Fellas of the RCMT.net world. I have starting to get back into the hobby. Ive been reading your posts for the past couple of days. Some of you may remember me from 3-4-5 years ago, used the name JuggNut, or Juggernut. I left the hobby just about when the TXT-1 came out. I had many many Tamiyas; Mountys, Bruisers, Clods, Zilla's, a lot of the first ThunderTech stuff, Jugg stuff, tube chassis, etc. I also had a 6 wheel Bullhead whom I some to Orange Pedenaut (I think he still might have it? lol) Anyways I am glad Im back!! Time to buy a few new trucks! Looking at that new Tamiya FJ Cruiser kit, might pick one up this week......Can someone fill me in one whats new these days?

Thanks guys!!

welcome back to the hobby. What has been going is scale scale scale. There are alot of people really doing some nice scale builds and the rock crawling thing is huge. I know clods are still going strong also and seem to be going cheap on the bay. Pajeros were just re-released and are easy to make into a scale rig. Rc channels has come up with a good 4-link kit for them. Rc4wd has some great scale wheels and tires plus has really got into the aluminum beadlocks, shocks, and some great crawling tires along with some other scale stuff like axles and such. Highlifts and hiluxs are awsome trucks I had 2 and now down to one and I beat the snot out of it and have not broken anything yet I have had it for almost a year now. Tamiya is really stepping up to the plate and making some good vehicals and they all seem very easy to customize.

There's a name that I remember. :D Welcome back. It's tough to stay completely away from monster trucks. Did you sell all your trucks?

Wow, Doc Wildman...there's a name that I haven't seen around here in a very long time.

Hey Rob, hows it going? Yeah I still got the ol Sassy truck, minus the chassis, body, etc. lol Ok well the body is in storage but the truck has been redone since then. Aguilar got the sassy chassis from me some time ago. Been adding to my collection, built my fiance a truck, and build a 6x6 you might like. Glad to see you back, been a while. Need anything just hollar. Nick

I remember that name! Welcome back...I've found that I can't get away from RC or motorcycles for any substantial length of time, they always seem to creep back into my life.

Welcome back. :tmb

Rich, Doc, he got into helicoptors bigtime. I haven't heard from him since last summer, he had his knee operated on again. Still in Illinios just outside of Chicago. He was talking about getting his old 1:1 prostreet big block back on the road. If he did pull it out of storage R/C won't be on his mind. :burn

The F40, CR01 landy is a blast, a bit on the expensive side for a tamiya but it is a great build, and some serious possibilities if you want to mod it. :wnk

Thanks guys for input, ive missed this place. Yes I did sell all my trucks, got into rear 4wheeling, a few broncos, etc etc. So my Bronco about 6 months ago and just about done with my 70 nova ss396. Reason I asked about rich is a very long time ago I sent him a mint Bruiser in trade for a tube chassis for a clod, NEVER got anything back from him, no word, nothing. Claimed he went bankrupt, and a lot of other BS, but Im over it even though Im out $500.....
Orange - awesome! glad to talk to you again. I totally forgot the name of those chassis, Sassy Chassis, sweet.

Locoboy, good seeing you again!

William - Still have your archive of Bruisers and good ol' Tamiya stuff?

Im going to get into a FJ I think, and Im all about the scale stuff.....noticed some rigs with winchs, racks, rock sliders, etc thats F'in crazy, I love it!

Anyways thanks for remembering me! Time to start building again!

FJ40 CR01 is a good choice, I like mine a lot.
As for my 3spd collection, all I'll have left after this weekend is my chromed yellow blazing blazer. I have a mudblaster (blackfoot w/ brat body) the blazer, a clod bodied high-lift and new F40 CR01. That's it for tamiya trucks.
