OK, I've been slacking on posting these, mostly because of the lack of photos but also because I've been busy with other things.

I want to start off by saying this past race was the last one for 1buktooth (Curtis). He's in the Navy and will be changing station over to Washington State, so if there's anyone up there who runs monsters or scalers you need to hook up with him. Curtis and his wife Mary and kids, have been good friends for the almost 2 years I've known them. He was there in the beginning when we started this series and a solid member throughout. He cracked us up with some truly off the wall comments sometimes and some of the most "unique" runs on the track(Hawaii guys know what I mean, lol). He will be missed but I'm sure he will find his way back someday.:tmb

Now on to the results. I'll do them in rder but since I don't have pics from race#16 and am limited with the other races I'll keep it short.

RACE#16 This race was cut short because we ended up getting a HUGE crowd around us(there was a soccor tournament going on at the park too) and it was getting dangerous because they kept getting too close to the track. You would think the parents would be smart enough to stay a little bit back considering how fast the trucks were going but they were worse than the kids!

pics from race #17

start of the course

go around in a big turn and cross over each other

after crossing each other turn up the course and jump the big ramps

then do an immediate 180 and turn down the course and jump the crush cars

head down the to the yellow pylons at the far end of the course and do a 180 and come back on the lane you just came from

jump the cars again

And finish by jumping the last set of big ramps

The whole course

start off facing each otheron the crush cars in the center of the track

then turn onto the oval track jumping the big ramps. After doing one and a half laps you end by jumping the last set of ramps just outside of the oval, it would be the ramps behind you when you started.

-Thank-You for sharing those, they always look super sweet!!! Is the truck of HawnMT, the same one that was the Silver Bullet? Also, is the body on that truck a Super Rs4 truck body, or the standard 1/10th, it's beautiful on a stk. WB Clod, (as shown).:)

Yeah that is my old Silver Bullet with a new body. I had to retire the old body after the bottom part of driver's side broke off because that's where the battery door is. The new body is an HPI 200mm on-road body. It came on a TXT I got a awhile back but as you can guess it didn't look right on it. I just repositioned the body posts on the chassis to line up with the body's holes and opened up the wheel wells to clear the tires.
