Wooooo what a day! We just came off a three week break because of Father's Day and in two weeks we have another and a week after that we have our Mid Season Championship, so we'll be busy.
Today the weather was perfect, maybe a little on the hot side. Considering it was raining everday for a few days before it was a welcome sight. All that rain meant the grass was higher than we're used to.
The Course:
Six lanes with each racer having three on each side for their course.
Each racer starts off on the outer most lanes behind the cones. On go, you jump the first big set of ramps in front of you.
Next turn inward to the next closets lane and jump the second set of big ramps.
Then turn inward again to the inner most lanes with the crush cars. Jump the cars and then turn outward to the lane you came from.
Jump the big ramps for the last time and on to the cones at the far end for the finish. Deceptively simple course but those turns are much tighter than they appear. Most of us were having a hard time with them in qualifying and the first heat.
