Im Happy to announce the


TOP TRUCK CHALLENGE

FREESTYLE

Contest Rules:

SOLID AXLE ONLY...truck must be a Monster Truck...no buggies, truggies, SCTs or Scalers.

Video must be at least 1 minute long and no longer than 3 minutes

Video must NOT be edited or it will be disqualified...Intros, Outros and Music over the video is allowed

Video Uploading:

All videos must be uploaded to YouTube. Videos can be attached to this thread

All videos must be new, Nothing before August 16 2014 and you must still own the truck in the video and uploading will be over by October 30

All videos must have the title Top Truck Freestyle followed by your truck name...Example: "Top Truck Freestyle Car Killer"

Points will be deducted for roll overs that require you to marshal the truck


We are looking for Big Air, Consistancy, Saves and Momentum...Points will not be awarded for launching your truck and "hoping" it lands on its wheels. We are looking for Monster Jam style Freestyles

The winner will be decided from our RCMT member's voting there top 3 favourites voting starts on October 31 and end on November 15

Voting example

#1) Grave Digger
#2) Car Killer
#3) Nitro Flames

The prize for first is being able to brag to everyone that you beat them, so its basicly a fun run.:)

Thanks guys. I'm gonna make the big center jump a little steeper. There's too much room there that should be covered in the air, not on the ground. And I gotta get some cars lined up at those little jumps to either side and I'll be ready to shoot for real.

Cool! Also just a reminder to everyone that your video must be more then 1 min and no longer then 3 min and it must be called "Top Truck Freestyle Grim Reaper" or it will be DQ'd.

Well I don't have nearly the driving skills nor the proper "freestyle" course but I am going to give this a try. Hope the ol' GP stays in one piece......heh heh heh

Well here is my entry. I did not edit any of the actual video footage but did fiddle with an opening, closing, and music.

If this is too much I can redo.

I would but.....I blew up my trans the other day before I could even turn the camera on so now I'm waiting til the 28th for my new gear to arrive.

So in the mean time I decided to do a few course improvements.

Needs a little paint but I think it's cool. As soon as my gear gets here I'll be back in action!

Is slow motion video allowed? Don't mean super slow, but if I shoot at 60fps and play it back at 24fps, would that be ok?

I've got a special video coming up, and I'm building the freestyle track at the moment.:p Still need to mod the truck just a little bit...

EDIT: Seems like my rig isn't very capable on the track, and I'm starting to get a bad feeling about this, but I will still try to pull this off somehow! :D

i would say yes ... as long as its not edited and not over the time frame :)
