RC4wd wheel widners

Has any one else had a problem with them breaking the axle cup and treaded piece? Had this happen and im not sure exactly why(have a idea why it may have) But was wondering if this is a common problem? Or what else would cause this other then over tightening the wheels(if i didn't tighten them they'd fall off every run just ask jon or joe lol)

I bought the wheel widners and curious if they really work that good with drilling g the hole out as big as u have too?
