You can use Imageshack or Photobucket as a host to post pictures if you want.

I think that may be a home brew, 2 reasons.

Sassy was pretty good at the box&pan bender and that is pieced together more than any other Sassy I've seen. I could be wrong, but no bell crank steering and pieced together leaves me thinking no.

i was leaning towards homeade myself, some of the things just dont make sense parts of it seem to be an erector set

It's mine now !!!

Ok, so being a vintage kinda guy ... I couldn't really pass this up (especially not for $40).

I agree that it doesn't look like anything that Sassy would build ... and the split tub (main section in two halves) isn't like any production or aftermarket chassis I've ever seen ... and I even have an aluminum chassis for a Boomerang (how many people have even seen one of those). That being said, I've seen a lot of homemade chassises too ... and it has a design and build quality that most aren't capable of. I love Sassy Chassis (have three) ... but they're overall design is usually fairly basic / simple. The same with Hot Trick (which if it were red, this would probably pass for).

I'll post some better closeup pics later ... but the front spring / suspension (and to a slightly lesser degre the rear swingarm) are fabricated to a level that is simply beyond the skill of most ... and even fewer would go the effort for a one-off.

Regardless of who built it ... it is a great piece of engineering, and I'm very happy to own it ... now I just to restore it and make it pretty !!!

Well, I haven't made as much progress as I could have ... too many projects going on at one time ... lol. I have it all torn down ready to strip the chassis ... not sure what I'm gonna do with it after that ... I guess it depends on how good it looks bare ... I might leave it that way. I've been slowly gathering up some parts here and there ... while I try to decide exactly what I wanna do with it.

I'll get back on it soon ... and keep you posted.

Thanks for the interest,

Mark
