So my dark knight is in the Showoff section of RCdriver October 2011 issue. But the details are all wrong- they have the pic of my Dark Knight on the Berzerker Chassis, dual ezrun + parma ford bigfoot body painted by Kris from Darkside designs

BUT

they listed all the details from my nightwing truck on the CPE predator Chassis, dual sidewinders + Proline f350 painted by Brian at the Paint Factory.

I was excited to see it... then a little bummed because I can't contact Kris from Darkside and say- hey look at your work!

Kris painted Ryan Cavaleiri Worlds buggies this year! He is great to work with and very affordable.

That's too bad Mike. I couldn't agree more with you on Kris at Darkside Designs. Great guy to work with. He has my future business. :tmb

That is cool you made the mag with your truck but it is truly a bummer they messed up the details. Oh well, you made it! :tmb

yeah this is kinda the second thing they have messed up on. it's hard to complain because I have received some cool stuff from them (subscription and tt01). it just seems like they miss the details sometimes. which is odd for a magazine- unless they hire editors like me... you would think English is my second language sometimes.

it's cool making the mag though and having it in hand... last time I made it I couldn't get it for the life of me and it was going to be like $20 to get a copy of it sent to me. so I missed it.

its always cool when you get something of your in a mag. i built a street leagl monster truck i guess you could call it. 95 f150. put a big 460 in it. has about 20in of lift. running 44in super swamper tsl's on it. its pretty plain jane but still impressive. it mad offroad mag back about 10 years ago. was cool as hell.
