i got this super clod for my b-day this past june (nice wife huh?)
well it couldn't stay stock for long after i saw a bunch of race vids on youtube.
it was fun in stock form but as a racer i needed "mo powah".
so i began researching and ended up with this.

parts list:

cpe pro lite terminator chassis
cpe 2" wheel wideners
cpe bta steering
cpe rear lockouts
cpe inner axle stiffeners
rcguy motor mounts
rc4wd tire foams
shaved clod tires
yeah racing 80mm shocks (i also have a set of 100mm)
avid revolution bearings
2x hobbywing ezrun 8.5t 60amp brushless systems
robinson pinions, 13t and 15t. not sure which i'll run at the races.
servo y harness
battery y harness
parma lexan clod repro body
futaba 2pl 2.4ghz radio
thunder power 60c 2s lipo (on order)

i just finished it the other nite and have only have taken it out for a couple of test drives. i want to run the the rcmtrs winter wars so i'm taking it easy on the clod so it's in one peice for the event. it's quick, thats for sure. no wheelies, i have the suspension very plush so it just squats and shoots.

-it's neat how the decals, (the Eagles), being blue, make the bumpers work, w/o clashing!!!:tmb
that's the only reason i put those eagles on there. i haven't found a set of bumpers i like yet so the blue ones will be on there for a while at least.

this thing is so much fun, i took it out during my lunch hour. right now it running on a tenergy 35c 5000mah lipo and has plenty of power. it will interesting to see how much of a difference the 60c will make.

Very cool looking truck. Can't wait to hear how you like the EZrun systems. (and see some vids!)
i own a bunch of different hobbywing esc's. these ezruns are a little simpler then the xeruns i normally use in race vehilces but you can't use sensored systems in a reverse rotation scenario. so far so good, plenty of torque and speed.

you can connect a single lipo and split for 2 speed? first time i see this....
Yep, that's the only way to do it if you want to race and not have to stuff 2 batteries in, especially when it is totally unnecessary. I race all my Clods with the same battery to esc configuration. Works great.

Truck looks great as is, noce work! If you don't like blue bumpers, you could do what I did, and pick up a set of black ones for a chrome edition truck on Ebay.

^You can also dye the stock blue bumpers black with RIT dye from your local supermarket. Did it on my brothers truck, came out looking pretty good.

thanks, it's by far my favorite rc right now. i usually race 2wd mod buggy and mod truck but they can't compare to a modded clod like this.
the clod is so much more fun.

i notice my photo's aren't working....time to go bust my buddies balls.
