Hello

Looking for any input on a battery pack (or two) for a PRP Berzerker. I would like to know 1st: if anyone runs a different configuration than the stock seven cell holding space in the bottom, and 2nd: Does anyone have a recommendation as to who will make a high end battery pack that fits the chassis perfectly? 3rd:What have you discovered works good for more cells? (i.e. Locations) Thanx Bill

most people are using the 7 cell configuration, I've seen 6 cells work really well too. Personally I like 7 cells better, I know of a couple people that have tried 8 cells, with that set up 1 cell isn't completly held in place so you might want to shoe-goo it to keep it from bouncing.

You will have to build your own battery pack to fit in the truck, it really isn't that hard, so your best bet is to buy a good set of cells and build it yourself, you will save yourself a little bit of money and the headache of finding someone to do it for you and you can also make sure it fits as you build it

With the newer cells the size of the individual cells may be a little larger than the slots, if that is true of what your using you should take a file and file the sides of the slots at a 45 degree angle then run a THIN bead of CA on the filed area. Pancar guys have been doing that forever, and it actually keeps the carbon fiber from splintering.

one word of caution, when you are building your battery don't let the battery terminals or the battery bars touch the carbon fiber.

Good Luck
Doug
