I saw this thing in person the other day and it is Amazing. It will look sweet once it is painted and the chassis is completed.

Updated pics of the Interior and Chassis

Well I made the plunge and cut the doors into Half Doors as Chino63 over on RCCrawler kept saying he wanted to see it and not hear about it. LOL

Here is a pic of the frame with the R2 Mounted up and the axles mounted. Waiting on the 80mm shocks to make this puppy stand up on its own.

I have been trying to figure out the interior and was successful with dropping it approximately an 1"
have been playing with the dash and interior. I dropped the back of the seat 1/4" and then added the lower portion of the seat and then the kick area where we usually put stuff under the seat. So that adds about another 1/2 or more below the half doors that you can't see. This allowed me to lower the floor all the way down to where it should be. Added the slanted floor board that runs up to the firewall.

The hump on the floor next to the seat will hopefully blend in with the black when I paint it. But that is the hump where the Hyperion 3013 sits . I will try and build the Tranny tunnel some what around that then up to the firewall later.
I didn't like the original look of the dash because it was flat. And of course the original in a 1:1 isn't flat so I cut out the indensions and molded that in. Also with the Speedo in this year it was slanted behind a plexi window so I built out that portion of the dash and gave it the slant. Once finished it will have the speed and tach behind a thin piece of plexi as well.

Let me know what you think of the Half doors. :tami

Well I finally received my new wheels today and I must say they look much more proportional then the 2.2's.
I got bored last night and did some detailing of the grille as well, so it is almost finished, just need to add the rust to the bumper and shoot some flat clear over it and I will be good.
If you can tell from the side shot, I took the emblem and made it look like it is falling off. When I get closer I will be attaching it so it will swing back and forth as if it is almost ready to fall off.

Then on the bed I have started the Cancer/Rust around the wheel wells and the rear clearance light. Just as a 1:1 truck would have. The cab will have Cancer/Rust on the rockers next to the wheel wells as well when I get ready. Then it will be detailed out with rust around the holes and in the bed.
Of course the axles will be given the Junk yard look later on as I am looking at rounding them down.

Any suggestions on what to do to the wheels to make them look more used? The blue anodized rings will be changed and possibly doing something to the wheels but haven't decided at this time.

Keep an eye out on the Chassis to be detailed out very soon, as I am almost finished with the mock up and then I can begin tearing it back down and detailing it out and putting it back together.

use some window tint spray or clear transparent smoke to make disc brake dust on the front rims.

Lookin good. I'm already to roll with my trucks. As soon as you get this done we need to go out and do some minor running.

Hey I want to take you up on that, I would like to see if this thing is going to be any good or not. Definately have to take some video if possible as others don't think that I will be running it as it has to much time and detail. You know the first roll over and scratch is always the worst and then everyone after that just gets easier. LOL

You are close I was thinking of having Beer Cans in the bed. LOL as I am thinking of rusting out the inside of the bed as well. The cans would look right at home then.
As for the seat I am thinking of having something like a Horse Blanked and having springs popping out of the seat, but we will see. :shk

Well she is finally standing on her own will power. LOL

The wire out the tool box is used to charge the RX pack, this way I dont have to take the body off. Kinda cool Idea and the Receiver will be going back in the tool box when I get it finished up.

As well I have pretty much all the electronics installed and powered it up and ran it around the house to make sure that everything works. I installed the battery up between the Bed and the Seat back. It was a nice fit and a cubby hole that was begging to be used.

I just need to get my upper link mount completed and make my upper links and it will be in running order.
The RX batter is just sitting in place as I have to figure out where in the front I want to mount it up and be out of the way as I want to leave room for a 2nd servo for a winch down the road.

Here is a pic of my Steering arm that I custom made and it works really well. You can't even see the Servo up front as I made sure that it was tucked up high enough to hide it out of sight.

I will possibly work in some steering stabilizers as well if I can work it out I may go with two up front but don't know yet.

So far so good, I am happy with how everything is coming along so far.
