I think that A1 was Ricrush's. I do believe it is capable of crabwalking too! I have always liked the original 72 style body USA1. Sure were a lotta nice trucks there.

Yes Will that was my Usa-1 its based on a Jugg 2. It runs in the retro class. And yes it will crab....like my kong truck and freestyle truck. Monster Beetle Guy I wish I had met you. I did not realize that there were other rcmt guys there that I did not know. You were with Rcpuller right? Were you running the big rig with the mfu at the end of the day? I am pretty sure I know who you were.

Yes Eric that was me runnin the rig with MFU. I was more or less there as a spectator and help out rcpuller with his stuff. Not much of a racing instinct in me but I sure was digging watching you guys in freestyle. Now that I could get into! Have even thought about getting into some of the cheaper pulling classes as dont wanna get stuck with an RC that only gets ran 2 or 3 times a year...My rigs are bad enuff they dont see the light of day that often and the rig I was running there was still covered with dust! Next time I'll be sure to introduce myself. You have some amazing looking trucks!

Those were the guys that competed in the freestyle competition...Maybe someone else will chime in on who's who...

I'm the kid sitting behind the computer screen in my living room constantly saying, all weekend long, "I should be in Ohio right now!" Oh well, we should make it to the Worlds. Hopefully I can have a 4X4 Pro-Stock Truck, and a scaler or two done before then. And then, of course, I'll have the '07 Worlds-winning big rig, hopefully my original big rig, and, maybe, just maybe, I can get a new pinion and RX for the BL rig. Oh, and my mom's rig. So, that's at least 4 Big Rigs, 1 4X4 Pro-Stock Truck, and possibly a scaler to do whatever with.

And congratulations to you Jerry for winning the runner up prize in that raffle.....You got a brand new xl5 speedo from Traxxas. Nice seeing you again although I did not get to say goodbye as I believe you took off pretty fast for home:burn.

Chris Bercaw (tnt pulling on rcmt) won the raffle truck. Congrats to him and to Jerry (matton platton on rcmt) for winning the speed controller. Matt also thanks to you and your girlfriend for selling the tickets for us. The Nrctpa was able to raise some money on this raffle thanks to those who helped and to Traxxas.

Woo Hoo!!!! But i have other plans for that ESC that doesn't include me. Hey Eric; I have an idea i would like to kick around with you at some point. I don't have everything figured out just yet but i will email you.......

Thanks again
Jerry

P.S. Erics USA-1 does a NASTY crab steering stunt when there is a pulling sled attached to it. Would have loved to have a picture or vid of that but i was racing against him when it happened.

i've got videos of it :) i think it was because the sled was just hooked to his rear steering link and when the chain went off the center it just took off to the side.

eric - no problem on the selling of tickets. i hope we did a decent job for you guys :)

I had forgot about taking the hitch off the truck as we had stopped pulling the sleds. When we started I remembered it but it was too late the hitch was at home. So I hooked it to the cross bar for the rear steer. When I took off hard it yanked the rear steer over and I almost pulled the sled in a circle. I tried it again and realized what was going on. I was testing a different radio this weekend too. I was trying to get myself used to the spektrum ds3 with the thumb button for rear steer but I am really used to the traxxas radio I have set up. We definetly had fun. Too bad you had to leave so early Matt and Jerry maybe for the worlds you should look at staying Sunday night.....as I believe alot of people will this year being the 20th running of the event.

And yes Matt you two did great selling tickets!

I bet that Will did not even know that there was a ticket with his name on it....he could have won.
