Painting Chassis Sides

Hi,

I noticed a good few people here painted the chassis sides of their TXT-1 black. I wondered if you had any tips for doing it.

I have some Hard-wearing satin black car paint that I have used for finishing aluminium computer panel work before. It goes on well onto keyed up bare aluminium and sticks well (no peeling etc.). Would that do it? I figure 3 coats of that will give me a nice finish.

you should be fine thats what i used i put 3 coats and then a hard clear ..... bashing with it has held up well , i had a few spots that needed to be touched up so i used a king size marker on them cant tell :tmb
