Oval Racing Advice?

I was running my clod at a local dirt oval track. Everyone else was running nitro ( tmaxxs ect) and the clod was keeping up surprisingly well. I might gear up a little bit to keep up in the straights but the electric torque was beating everyone in the turns. My only complaint was the backend washing out as I was exiting the turns. I'm running stock tires and was wondering if there is a certain technique to cutting the back tires to gain a little more side bite? Also if anyone has ever raced dirt oval with the clod, setup advice would be appreciated. I ran my terminator, lowered as far as I could get it, 4600kv motors, 15t pinions, and a 2 cell lipo.

Interesting, thanks for the tip. I have absolutely no oval experience but it was still pretty fun. Nobody was too serious. Heck, my buddy even had his lunchbox out there with us.

increasing the outside tire helps the car/truck turn left.
It's known as tire stagger. Oval racers have done it for years.
