OT: Goodbye 2010

With all the Stuff that a lot of us have gone through this year. I know some have loss their jobs and some have had trouble making ends meet this year. The plus side is that we have had this great community for the support we have needed. I will be the first to say... Good bye 2010. I know this is a little early, but I welcome 2011 and hope that everyone has a great holiday, and a Happy New Year.

Health issues; deaths, car accidents; job loss; deaths..............What a year indeed. If I drank it would be to toast a good bye to this past year. So I will raise my Pepsi instead :laugh I hope everyone has a better 2011. I know it's tough but somehow i can still see the bright side of all the bad that has happened to me this past year:tmb

2010 wasn't a shining moment for a lot of folks, and definitely the nation as a whole. Here's to seeing 2011 turn it around- I have faith that we will recover financially as a nation, grow closer as a nation, and hopefully stop suing the crap out of each other. Kids won't look up to people like the cast of Jersey Shore or anything from VH1/MTV/BET, while everyone will make an effort to be a benefit to someone outside of themselves. We can pray.

i can agree to this.
lost my job, lost my house. gained a few pounds! but it wasn't all bad. Had my first child in the last quarter, got back into RC, approved for a student loan.
but things are looking better in 2011 for me! Father hood/ student life. Bashing in the back yard... hehe
come on in 2011 can't wait !

2010 was an awful year, so glad it's gone, I saw to much death, to much horror, even my own life suffered. I hope everyone has a good new year, and hope for the best.

2009 was the real facepunch for me.2010 was a slow climb out of that hole. I'm optimistic for 2011 however. Time to make some big life decisions. It's looking like a good year for the machinery too. The resolution this year is to have two more things running( I'm shooting for my Rabbit and the snowmobile)
For the non- drinkers I have some sparkling Apple Juice that toasts very well.
