I haven't cleaned anything yet. The inside of the chassis is the dirty part. the Sides and bottom are reasonably clean. It seems like somebody cleaned it without removing the body. I think this truck was run in water and mud. The motors were super squeeky and rusty and the tires had water stains inside.

The gearboxes spin free and the diffs are smooth so I'm glad about that

Looks good! I really want to add a stock clod to my stable. We always get so caught up in modding these trucks we seem to forget how much fun they can be in stock form! Anyone else remember the "flex wars" here on RCMT YEARS ago were everyone was fighting to see who could get the most travel out of a stock tub and the stock swing arms?

ClodMonster I've used GooGone to get left over sticky residue off left by double sided tape or decals it works good then used the glass cleaner after cuz GooGone leaves it greasy

kingclod thanks!

turboshadow stock clods can are a lot of fun especially if you remember the retro monsters from the 80s and early 90s a stock clod replicates the performance pretty good!

last night I wired up some new silver cans one from a wheely king and one from a tamiya buggy and put in an XL5. I hope it can handle dual motors. I wired them in parallel with deans wire. I ran out of deans plugs and found out the servo it came with is too old or something the plug is way to big for my receiver which I mounted in rear.

looks much better now. And the juggy tires look much more at home on this than your digger.
I used to cut out part of the tub bottom to clear the gearcases as well as 4link it and have the rear gearbox backwards so motor timing wouldn't matter.

Thanks bill. AFAIK the motors I put in are 0 degree timing so I just flipped the wiring on the rear motor.

Well I had it rtr today for a while. I got a blue traxxas 2075 servo from a dude who said it was from a revo and was a high torque unit. It works fine. I was doing a shake down run and ended up breaking the rear anti-rotation bracket followed by the.stock steering apparatus on the front. Doh!

It was real fun to drive though. I'm gonna look for the anti_rotation brackets and consider an axle mounted servo for the front.

Thanks! The jugg tires have been a favorite of mine since I first saw them. I ran them on my old Jugg2 and a couple Clods back when I was into RC the last time. The rubber is hard so traction isn't the best but the size and look are worth it for me :D

Man I keep looking at this thing and it reminds me so much of the old Gigantic Orange Crush truck from the 80's. The Jugg tires just give it that look. Paint her orange, add some wheel discs and man you have yourself a Gigantic Orange Crush!!! Looks awesome man!

Looking good Kenny.
I'd make some aluminum anti rotation brackets and axle mount a steering servo and lock the rear out. The stock steering was always a peave of mine ;)
