Old School look WK

Here is my WK - just recently finished and the first vehicle I was patient enough to take a couple pics of before running it with the new body.

This was originally a 2wd WK now converted to 4wd. The shocks are T-Maxx units with drilled oil pistons and WK springs. I run an "x" brace on the front lower 4-links like the rear suspension. This combined with the slight amount the shocks and tires lowered the truck really improved resistance to roll overs.

The body is a Pro-Line K10 Stampede body, rims are HPI Super Star SS, and the tires are Imex G-Hawgs. The only other item different from stock is a Novak XRS ESC.

Thanks for the comments guys. I like the G-Hawgs a lot but I wish they were just a little wider. I'm just happy that I FINALLY finished something to post. It seems lately I have a lot of projects started with zero being completed.

ajbaquatics - good luck with your truck and don't worry about being a copycat. What's the saying? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. LOL! If you do go with a black chassis only replace one side at a time. I was able to swap chassis plates in 30 minutes that way. It would have taken a lot longer doing a complete disassemble and re-assemble.
