Old school class

I'm in the process of building and gathering parts for a old school truck. Since I've never attended a event what do I need for a hitch? How big the hitch would need to be etc. Pictures or dimensions for a recommended hitch would be much appreciated.

Hey Stephen nice to see you posting here. When you say old school classs do you mean that you are building a truck for the retro class?

Yeah retro class is what I meant, my bad, had a brain fade lol.

I used to just put 2 big set screw collars on my rear drag link to keep the hook centered and used that as a hitch. Worked fine consider the sleds they use for Retro aren't very heavy and it saves you from needing to buy and run a big ugly hitch.

You know the dura-collars we use on the Diablo swaybars? Same thing just bigger to go over the rear steer tie bar (knuckle to knuckle bar).
