Heh heh...

I seam to go down that same path with my full size crawler all the time too.

Hoping to order stuff today.
Sounds like one 'good' battery will be fine for now.

Got an email from the guy last night telling me they've not been shipped yet. :-(

Told my son about em too, now he keeps asking "when" dad.

Might I suggest if your going down that road you might as well get a 11.1V 3s lipo battery. In the end it'll only cost a little more than 2 good 7.4V batteries but you'll only have one battery pack.

The fact that I'd need a new charger to go along with it makes it a tougher sell but I thought about it...

Found where I can still buy the stock ESC for the TD, seams like a resonable purchase and a cheap way to get a twin motor/single batt. ESC.

Same site has a decent price on Tamiya 3000MH batteries too, also sells 5x11bearings on a 24 count card, thought I read somewhere here that's what these take.

Any reasons not to order these parts?

Good to know if or when we decide to upgrade the ESC but the stock one will have to do for awhile cause I already ordered em.

Would a C.O.R.R. style body fit on a WD?

:D I was thinking the same thing when i first got my Dagger. The wheelbase is too short to fit the slash bodies so you'd need a custom frame to do it. I'm not sure widthwise but I think it's close.
