First is rc4wd's Rumble tires, clod wheels in delrin, blackwell axles, and an aluminum Wheely King tranny case and metal gear set.

Then over to CPE for some GP chassis plates

Tower for misc hardware, revo driveshafts and traxxas parts

E-bay for some 3/8ths delrin to make my Wheely Pounder adapter plates

Send the GP chassis plates out to Hesse Machine to have them stripped and re-annodized. Also have Mike make a few chassis cross braces and links and anno same color. Have him machine some custom 12mm wheel widener/adapters

Hmm, paint. That's a tough one. I had a place in mind but I'd find somebody new to do a real wild paintjob on a chevy 72 c10 body.

Basicly one of my Wheely Pounders, but taken up a few notches to be really show class. Maybe instead a John Boyer tube chassis...

What would you build?

gotta get off my butt and figure out some shock towers for my X-factor, body mounts, punisher drive shafts, some new 4 links if I need to stretch the wheel base and a new body.

What I want to do isn't a shopping list of sorts, but more of a goal regarding 2 things I'd want to build.

First is to start with a replica street truck (like a high lift) and slowly build it into a stage 1 monster truck, similar to the pioneers of the monster truck industry.

The other thing I want to build is a super modified mud race vehicle. Dave Pack built one years ago and it looks absolutely awesome.

Mine right now would be a Boyer tube chassis, rolling on probably Axial aluminum axles, 2.2"/s with Proline TSL's, summit tranny, lights everywhere and some form of Hummer body panels. Basically a SCX10 sorta basher on a higher level. LOL!

Or for more of a monster truck, how about aluminum Bully MOA axles with open diffs on a power's style race chassis, clod-sized beadlocks, Imex Puller tires, dual brushless setup, etc, etc...

Hmmm... My build would go something like this...

RC4WD - Rumble tires, beadlock wheels, Blackwell Axles

Traxxas 3905 E-Maxx 2 speed with billet gears

John Boyer custom tube chassis

Twin Novak HV Brushless motors

In my mind, the chassis and driveline is sweet enough not to require a body. :wish

TXT-2.0

Mod Wrapper
hmmm good question ..... probably have it be something like this ,

Boyer tube chassis

13 inch wheelbase

RC4WD Delrin Clod Beadlock Rims on shaved Clod tires

Emaxx trans

TXT Axles

and a 4600 castle :tmb

Since no one answered if I could use discontinued parts I'll say yes I can. :)

Mine is simple - I would want an original Bruiser or Mountaineer- unbuilt - in the box. I still think that is one of the coolest trucks ever.
