We are going to have to be flexible on our dates and over the next few years be able to move them to accomodate major attractions such as the I-Hobby, Diggers Race and whatever is next.....fact is they wont be changing around us so we will have to accomodate them. It only helps our club in the long run.

If we force our racers to pick we will lose thats for sure.

I also just saw a email reponse from Derek Buno editor of Extreme that said he would cover our race but NOT if it conflicts with other bigger races or trade shows....so there you have it.

Our races will have to float around for the benefit of the big picture! Thats just the way it is if we want to Maintain what we are and even grow.

I saw the add for the worlds in the newsletter. Who ever put it together did a grate job. I think it looks insane. You know this ad should be a good thing for our club. The only problem is the NRCTPA website has never been updated from the springs. What is up with that? I know people are busy this summer as I am but spending that kind of money to send people to an outdated website I don?t think is to smart. It looks as if it hasn?t been updated in a year. No results or photos from the springs. We only run two to events a year can it be that hard? If we want new people in the sport we should at least look like we have our sh** together.

Very good point. Updating websites is not very time consuming. I'm a webmaster at two sites, including my own, and I can sit down, 20 minutes, and have both up to date. More work, like results, pictures, coding, ect... will take more time. The Association website is so far out of date now, and has so many complicated codes, that it would probably take an hour or more based on my estimations. John, our former webmaster, can probably give a more accurate estimation. As far as apperence, it looks great, but time wise, it's 3 months out of date.
