I have been going back and forth on this for awhile. I was going to buy a newer truck but decided to keep the truck and get this. Its suppused to be the last year for the monte carlo. This is a 06 that I found that only had 1700 miles (Yeah its new) I just couldnt pass the price. It had everythng I wanted except for the rally stripes. The 06 and 07 SS's have a 5.3 v8 in them. Heres a few pics.

I'll certainly compliment you on the choice... SS setup will be a RIOT to drive.

Makes me angry I bought a 6er' when I had the opportunity to buy a GT (8cylinder)...

Unfortunately, I absolutely dislike the new Monte Carlo's body lines. Still, congrats on your new ride... I'm sure it'll treat you alright.

a friend of mine has a silver monte SS exactly like that one. he removed the exhaust resonator and it has a nice rumble at idle now.

No 8 on the side for me Will. This car is alot of fun to drive. I havent had a car in years.
