but need to vent I sold my T maxx gas truck. bite the bullet and sold it for way less than I had in it. buyer just got it and sent this email.

Very disappointed in this truck...not worth near the money i spent...pull starter broke on me, one of your alloy body posts is made from a peice of plastic stock, no controler/receiver cristals...missing bolts..stripped spur gear, and that's only after looking it over for a few minutes. Piece of garbage,other than a few parts....

sorry your not happy with your new to you used truck. but it said right in the listing. sold as is used ask any ? you need answered before you bid. it has a easy $260.00 dollers of up grades on truck + all the sparer parts and stuff. so who you trying to kid you got a good deal! I lost money on that sale it sold for way less. than the money I had put in it!

the truck came with a Megatech gas engine that I payed $180.00 to get it. it had the hard core titanium senter diff skid plate, hard core alloy outer skid plates , hard core alloy bottom ralls, robonson racing gears in senter diff, robonson brake disk kite, dynamite stinger pipe just to name some off the up grades on truck + gave buyer 2 ofena fule filler botles, 2 glow plug egniters , a glow plug egniter charger, a full spare set of ront and rear top and bottom arms.
so I feal I got the short end of stick sold it pakege deal for $242 .50
or am I wrong and its not wearth even close to $200.00

Just my 2 cents worth.but being an ebay seller.If you list something and you know there are broken parts and you dont list them people are going to get mad.even though the truck has all the other add ons you should still list the broken stuff.people dont like to be suprised when they get something and there are alot of things wrong that was not mentioned.It will save you troubles in the long run.be up front so people know what they are truely getting.

Personally I'd have been steamed if I bought a truck and all that stuff was broken or messed up and it was not listed in the description. Just stating it's used and you need to ask questions before you buy doesn't cut it. Does that mean I need to specifically ask if something is broken or missing?

An overwhelming majority of people would much rather have a perfect working stock truck than a broken truck with hop ups. Like ds said, be upfront. That will go a long ways in making sure no one gets their feelings hurt during a transaction.

Got to agree with everyone else you needed to be more up front with sellers. If trucks got a few broken things you need to list them not just all the hop ups on it. I would also say be careful here as that person can very well go to ebay and repost you and also if he PayPal ya go to them. Sorry to say that man but thats what happen when you dont list everything and you say things like you should have asked first.

I just looked at shipping price and that seems really high for a maxx to be shipped to me and some other that seem liek your trying to get money back in that. im not bashing ya just trying to help.

One more thing I have a hop up t-maxx and put it up on ebay before you should be glad you got that much maxxs dont sell high priced at all.
