Whats up guys,
Well let me 1st. say I just came across this site afew weeks ago and its got me hooked again to build another Clod or 5....lol
I used to build and race Clods about 10-12 years ago and kinda got out of it when other hobbies took over ( kustom trucks/ motorcycles ) but now I have the bug again to compete and build. I'm 34 and from Montgomery, Il. just out side of Chicago. Im a Kustom painter/bike builder for a living. I have a lil boy (6) and I'd like to get him involved also. I hope you guys are open to answering aton of questions I have about set-ups and whats hot for the Clod. Its been so long since I've even picked up a controller but Im looking to hit up the major races maybe this year if not for sure by next year. Im working on my real 4x4 right now also so money is tight....lol
I had to blow the dust off these pics. but I wanted to show off afew of my Clods I built over 10 years ago. Feel free to ask me any questions too or comments.
Thanks ,
Terry

Awesome fleets man. I like it. All my favorite monsters. I remember back when Parma used to sell those 91 Bigfoot decal sheets too. Maybe they still do or maybe not but I remember em. I was also wondering if you wouldn't mind sharing where ya got the Snake Bite lid from. I saw a painted one up on the bay just recently and I remember that lid from a long whiles back but forgot the manufacture of it.

I know the only other manufacture that I can think of that had a Snake Bite lid of their own for one of their nitro trucks was Kyosho which was like the Wild Dodge ram with the QRC "Quick Reverse Clutch". They also had the Baja Beetle, too. Other then that I've seen the Proline F350's been painted up with the Snake Bite paint sceme but it just doesn't look right being the front hood area isn't molded like the Snake Bite.

Thanks Breaker,
Yea, When I painted that Bigfoot body Parma hadnt even come out with the sticker kits. I just loved how the truck looked. The SnakeBite body was a parma release also. To my knowledge they dont make this body anymore either. All these pics. were takin ealry to mid 90's. So there alittle retro....lol

I wish Parma would release some more Monster Jam style bodies, It would be nice!
Thanks again,
Terry

I had a long phone conversation with Terry on Sunday. He is very excited about getting back into the hobby and building some solid axle monster trucks. He wants to get out and race and have some fun as well as involve his boy. Terry only lives about an hour away from me. Another disease (lol) is he is a long term 1:1 monster truck fan. We talked for quite a while and look forward to meeting him. Terry thanks for posting up those pics of the old school stuff that you had from years ago. The site and your work look unreal. (rockstar cycle) Talk to you later. Eric

Thanks for clearing up that Snake Bite bod. At least Parma still makes the Ford bods as you have with the 91 Bigfoot. Also Welcome to the board.

Yea, I had the pleasure of talking with Eric last past Sunday and Hes a pretty good guy. Way cool getting a chance to pick someone elses brain about Clods and old Monster truck racing. I hope to get the chance to check out some of his lil projects.
Im going to dig out all my old TNT/ Camel mud and monster/ Tuff Trax monster truck racing from over the past 20 years I have and get them burned on DVD so you can check them out Eric.

Nahhhh....I sold everything off. I think the kid whobought the tuber crashed it into a wall like 2 days later and destroyed it .That was a bummer.
Everything else just kinda got sold oneby one. I was hardcore into customizing real truck at the time and one of the hobbies had to go..... Back then a set of 17"inch billet wheel would break the bank for a 20 yr.old.....lol

Yea, that is an old Awesome Kong truck.
I had to do alittle fuggin on it since they didnt make a newer body chevy in hard plastic. So I took the stock Clod body and chopped her up and made it fit.
Im a big "kong"fan....
Again thanks everybody for the warm welcomes and comments. If you guys have any questions for me just holler.

Also on your site, the intro is just plain hot and so is the work you got on there.

I'll look and see what I have for other pics.
If I find anything I'll post them no problem.
