New txt-1 build

Just pick up a txt from sharkman. I have torn the whole thing apart a need some help on a few questions. First, is there a place I can order a complete screw set for this? I am also going to paint the from what's the best way paint to use on the frame and four links? I will be running a brushless max tranny (3908) and need to know where I can find a mount that fits the txt. Plenty more questions I'm sure will be asked thanks!!

For screws, check out the vender spot for Screw loose. As for paint it will chip off over time, best thing to do is have it powder coated. It will last longer over time. An for the emaxx tranny mount. You will have to make one to the txt. Check out my build thread, my 1st tamiya txt-1. To give some ideas on the mount.

Just got my revo ends to replace the stock ones. Need another question answered. I want to use another tranny and I'm gonna use vxl 3500 brushless motor and esc, whats the best for the set up?

This is a 2200kv on 2s

That should give you a rough idea of about what 3500 would be between them.

Thanks guys def going with the 3500. The brushless e revo or emaxx tranny a one motor set up? I think txt2.0 txt had only one motor.

i had a 3905 dual motor setup i converted to one motor , you dont need 2 motors though on a txt setup

Nice but you guy's are wild driving them nice machines and bodies on pavement like that.

I try to avoid it at all cost with mine but now realize living in the sticks there is not too many paved streets anyhow and the one's that are have too much constant traffic to even dare it.

Got my tranny it's a e revo single motor brushless, 3991x traxxas number 5608. Now I need some help with a tranny mount for this!!!
