iam impressed with how the truck is laid out. i expected if they went 4x4 slash it would be a e revo /slayer type of deal but no.they totally went ground up.

Very cool looking truck! I even like the stock body this time around, no more funky traxxas paint job, the BFG tires look sweet too, anyone know if they're a belted tire? At least with the 4wd the tires should last a bit longer by spreading out the power, my 2wd Slash just eats tires on 3s.

I don't think I'd change a thing on this truck, take it out of the box and have a blast...well maybe add a Mamba Monster and a 6s :laugh

Traxxas' front page says it'll be available December 2009 @ 399 MSRP.

Im really excited with the potential of this truck. Im also super relieved that Traxxas was smart enough to start from the ground up for the most part and not just put Slayer arms on an E-Revo which IMO would have been disastrous.



It also looks like it will be an amazing platform for a smaller less expensive 4wd race truck. There really is no current option for a single motor 2.2, 4wd performance oriented truck on the market right now and I have a feeling this will change that.

Yep im going to be selling my slash now to get one of these that thing looks awesome. Wonder if they'll make the Pede 4wd now as well? Wouldnt be hard, just hack the sides off the chassis basically.

I got to drive this unit today at I-Hobby it just had a 6 cell battery in it and its fawsome. It jumps great.
