If they do release a 1/8th buggy I hope it's more of a standard 1/8th buggy aluminum chassis layout and not another revo clone. We need another revo clone like a hole in my head. :tong

traxxas had plans for a brushless e-maxx, and even had a part number assigned and everything. i posted a screenshot of our distributor ordering system showing the new truck's part number and it was quickly deleted off of traxxas's forum (their mods are nimrods) and the whole project ended up being scrapped in favor of the e-revo. they might have revived the project, but it would be a bad move from a business standpoint because the e-maxx doesn't sell well anymore as it is.

i read awhile ago traxxsa was coming out with a 1/8 buggy on neobuggy.net.but with the sc market so big rite now i can see a 4wd slash before that.i just hope its not a erevo with short arms but thats prolly what it will be.

Well my guess is that with the outpour of other short course trucks on the market that are more capable and scale to the original. even though ther Slash was one of the first on the open market. I would assume they will stay with the market that is selling the bvest and release a better version of the slash or shall i say updated.

I'm guessing it'll be a brushless 1/8 buggy. It would be an easy way to enter the new electic buggy craze. Perhaps they would adapt the Slayer set up and market a sc/buggy combo. The Revo suspension is hard to beat and it would give the other guys some stiff competition

Thanks for posting ricrush, the Traxxas site is obviously a bit slow now.
Seems like the perfect basher to me!
