Stock for now, but. I plan to do something about the steering like servo on axle, and maybe 4ws. After that? Only time will tell.

Pirated the radio from my stampede. Ran it around 10 seconds and broke a front lower link. :bang
Anyone have a part #?

Will, you're the man. I wish I had waited. I bought a set from Tower about 5 minutes after the post.:ack But the offer means a lot. You're a good man.

Oh well. I make my own links and the stockers I usually toss but for some reason saved a couple.

cajun - if you need something like that in the future post what you need - a lot of us on here have modded our stockers and I know I have whole box of links and parts like that.

Hey will, Do you still make lower links? Or can they be found in stock length but tougher somewhere?

if you buy the stuff and send it to me I would make some for you.
1/4'' tube, 6/32 threaded rod and traxxas ends
otherwise I always lose money on it as nobody wants to pay the price it costs to make them, let alone a small profit. It isn't all that cheap really, and does take some time cutting each right, sanding to proper size and then shipping.

Solid rod I only do for myself, the time those take simply isn't worth doing for others.

I can relate. I build trailers and tractor implements on the side. Not much profit involved after the bill of materials, labor, etc. I may try making some on my own.

No sweat man. :tmb

i followed wills advice on making links and every truck i have has used them in one shape or form.

i suggest using revo end links, they come in a pack of 12 or 16 and work great and are huge. then get threaded rod in 6/32 and some aluminum tube from your LHS. measure twice, cut once and put together.
it takes all of about an hour to make a set of lower links at any length you need.

oh and def stretch the WK out, it handles better and is less prone to tipping but at a loss of the wheely motion.

if you upgrade the motor to a solid 19t you can get the wheely motions back pretty easy.
