New Tlt Project

So here it is...a Mini Monster Replica I got from John Boyer. This is just the beginning, I would say it's about 20% done. But since I am starting my studies on Thursday, this will have to wait until my finals are over (Christmas holidays).

It needed a little modification to the parts on the TLT, but very easy to do. Another AWESOME tuber from John. B)

What do you guys think I should do with the shock setup? I have the choice of using stand up shocks, but the room is very limited, so I will have to turn down the stock TLT shocks for it to fit. Or I could stay with the stock cants. Any suggestions?

I am going to try to squeeze some time out of my weekend to set it up with cants for now. When I find some right shocks for the stand up configuration, I will change it. :)

I've been really busy from school already, so I doubt you will see anymore updates until Christmas. My schedule changed again as of next Monday. Now I go to school from 9am-9pm on Wednesdays and 9am-6pm on the rest of the days. That's the time it starts, transportation takes another 1.5 hours, so I get up at around 6:30 in the morning everyday. So I really don't have the energy and time to build RC's anymore

What a looooooooooooooooooooooong week :(

Weird, just when I said there will be no more updates until Xmas, here's a tiny update. I just got a custom battery pack built for this TLT today. They are,

Pole Position 3700mah GP Team Matched packs 440+sec 1.18v 6 cell unassembled

Hello all! My first semester is almost over. Just one more week followed by 3 week of exams. But I should have a package of alloy goodies coming in the next week (hopefully) along with my new K2-3S chassis I ordered last week. I have a small question though, what size of these metal rod ends from RC4WD would fit the TLT. I am thinking maybe I will go with some custom links too, but I want to keep it at stock wheelbase.

Thanks!

[EDIT] Another question, how would the RC4WD 2.2 Beadlocks work with the racing tires from Proline or HPI? Like these Dirt Bonez from HPI.

:blink How did I manage to miss this little gem? Sweet little rig!

Im pretty sure the rc4wd beadlocks would work with those tires just fine.

Just received some alloy goods from a friend in Hong Kong. GPM alloy 40% off! =D

There's some for the Kyosho HOR and TLT.

I am still deciding between the junfac bumpers or the GPM ones. I would get a pair of those RC4WD alloy housings if I had some extra cash.

Btw, is it just me or is there no emoticons?

Thanks Will, I see them now, but I can't click on them! None of the functions like bold, italic, or underline work too!

you should, I just ran a test account (rcmt, it's a regular member) and it can

I don't know why you wouldn't your set to wysiwyg maybe set reply to Standard Editor Toolbar ?

Either that or your #3 out of 500 for an account that didn't transfer well and is corupted when we went from invision to vbulletin. If that is the case we can start you a new account and delete the current. Then reset the new to old settings. Just register again under like "jchung007" and I can change the username after you think it's working correcectly and setup.
