Found this on the Japan site with some help. It looks like a new TamTech Truck. Its called a TamTech-Gear WildBoar.

I didn't find it on the USA site, but surely they will have it too.

Ewww...sorry...but that body is ugly :roll

Only if it's a totally different chassis, then it would be more interesting. But knowing Tamiya, it is just probably the GB01 with larger wheels. ;)

The nice thing with be better ground clearence. I know that was one of the complaints of the previous TamTech's.

meh, Get an RC18T onroad tires, and a brushless. You will be very very happy.

I've had 2 RC18T's with brushless (8000kv and 9200kv). Still have one of them and 4 Mamba's right now. Sort of got bored of just running it up and down the street. One of the Mamba's is going to go into a Kyosho HOR. :p

I have an RC18MT, but the damn thing breaks like no tomorrow and I'm tired of having to replace parts every time I go out with it. And for that reason, it has been sitting collecting dust.

The only bummer thing about this one is that it is 2WD.

What parts are you breaking on it? Mine have gone through A LOT, and I haven't broken a single part. But the hopups I got from the start were MIP CVD's, aluminum shocks, and a RPM bumper. The worst crash I had was full speed head on with the curb (missed the ramp :banghead ), that was with a mamba 8000 and 8 cell battery pack too. The damage were broken battery tabs and lost the centering on the servo. Other than that, the truck itself was fine. Maybe it's that RPM bumper that saved me. :p

I have replaced the diff's twice and rebuilt one of the shocks because the top popped off. I've cracked a hub, arm and two outdrives. I have upgraded the springs on the shocks and replaced the turn buckles with steel ones. I have also gotten blue aluminum covers for the outdrives to give them support from cracking. I swear its a lemon. And now my ESC is freaking out. The truck will just take off . :banghead

Ah yes, I also added steel turnbuckles and some brass sleeves for the outdrives. I've had no problems with the plastic parts on the truck though. ;)
