hmmmm is it really worth that much more money than a rtr pede though? I mean it still needs electrics, and as good as a bone stock pede is nowadays that would be hard to convince most people it's worth spending that kind of dough.
Hm, I like it because it is another option. And it has ProLines good hop up parts already installed ready for your own electronics. I think its a good idea.
I think Proline will have a huge fail in this one. Nothing wrong with the XL5/VXL stampede. One thing i do like is the Protrac kit but isnt a neccesity.
I just hope that they make more bodies and tire/wheel combo's to fit this, which will hopefully in turn fit our Stampedes, etc. and give us more options Obviously they will only sell like 5 of these, but if we get 2 or 3 more body options along with that I will be happy.
i have noticed that the Stampede body options are starting to dry up. I bought the prographix traxxas version due to the limited amount of direcet fit body choices. I really wanted a mid 80's or early 90's ford f150 but couldnt find one.
I noticed the wheel base of the proline stampede refresh is longer than the original traxxas. It's not a huge difference but it should be noted. I tried locating the nice proline-mt body shown on the kit...but no dice. I hope they offer it for sale as a separate item.
